How to Fix Pandora App Crash Issue in Samsung Galaxy Devices
There are multiple ways to fix Pandora app crash issue in Samsung Galaxy devices and therefore, it is recommended that you give all a shot. Now before you go for any of the mentioned fixes, make sure you have the latest version of Pandora on your Galaxy devices.
Reboot your Samsung Galaxy Device
Sometimes a thing as simple as a reboot can fix the most annoying issues. If you haven’t rebooted your device recently, it is time to reboot. After rebooting, launch Pandora app and see if it still crashes. In case it does, try to perform a Forced Restart. To force restart;
- Press and hold the Volume Down button and Power key simultaneously for 10 seconds.
Now launch Pandora and see if it still crashes. In case it does, try clearing the app caches.
Clear Pandora App Cache and Data
Clearing the app cache means deleting all the files it created and resetting. In case there are some corrupt files causing the app to crash, it is recommended that you clear the app cache and data.
- While on Home screen, navigate to Settings > Apps.
- Here, tap on App Manager and locate Pandora.
- Next, locate and tap Storage.
- Under storage, tap on CLEAR CACHE and then on Cached data.
After clearing the cache and data, launch Pandora and see if still crashes. In case it does, reinstall the whole app.
In most cases, minor glitches cause the app crashes and a simple update should be enough to fix them. However, if updating didn’t work, it is better to uninstall the app and then reinstall it. To uninstall Pandora;
- When on Home screen, navigate to Settings > Apps.
- Here tap on App Manager and locate Pandora.
- Now tap on Uninstall and then on OK to confirm.
Now head over to play store and reinstall the Pandora App.
Wipe/Clear Cache Partition
When it comes to app-related issues, clearing the caches fixes most of the issues. Here’s how you can wipe/clear the caches.
- Turn Off your device.
- Next, Press and Hold Power + Volume Down key for few seconds.
- This will put your device in bootloader mode, here press Volume down button twice to highlight recovery mode.
- Then press Power key to select the recovery mode.
- This will put your device in recovery mode.
- Use Volume Up and Down keys to navigate to “Wipe Cache Partition” option.
- Press the Power key to select the option and clear the cache partition.
Now reboot your device and launch Pandora app. If the issue exists, perform a factory reset.
Since factory reset takes the device back to original settings and wipes the data, it must be used as a last resort and make sure to create a backup first.
Perform Factory Reset
- Turn Off your device.
- Now Press and Hold Power + Volume Down key for few seconds.
- This will put your device in bootloader mode, here press Volume down key to enter in recovery mode.
- In recovery mode, use Volume Up/Down keys to navigate to the wipe data/factory reset option.
- Use the Power key to select the option.
- You will be asked to confirm. Again use Volume Up/Down keys to navigate and Power to select Yes- delete all user data.
- Then use the Power key to select Reboot system now.
