Although by saving these maps on your devices gives you navigation access anytime but if you do not update them within 30 days, they will be removed automatically. You can set your saved maps on an automatic update so that you will not have to update them again and again manually. Here’s how you can do that;

  1. Navigate to Google Maps app and launch it.
  2. Now tap the menu button, you will find the menu button on the top left corner.
  3. Under menu, scroll down and tap on settings.
  4. Select Offline Maps and enable,
  • Update offline maps automatically
  • Download offline maps automatically
